Grief Matters sees grief as human condition which we can all experience at one time or another. We therefore take a thoughtful, gentle approach to grief.
We use humanistic therapies, which treat clients in a holistic way, seeing you as a whole person not a set of symptoms.
We believe that all of us have the power within to help and heal ourselves, and we aim to be companions to that process, walking alongside you in your grief.
The counsellors also have rich experience working with complex grief, and we know from experience that profound and hopeful changes are possible.
Our counsellors are experienced and fully trained in working with bereavement. They are professionally supervised on a regular basis to ensure their work meets the highest standards.
They work to the ethical standards and guidelines of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy.
